Steve Allen's Meeting of Minds Last Show at the Steve Allen Theater Scheduled for August 15The show and cast have yet to be selected for the last show at the Steve Allen Theater on Sunday, August 15, at 7 p.m. The year-long monthly series, which featured star-studded casts, is being replaced by another production and will move to another venue in September. An announcement will be made in the August 15th program or on the Meeting of Minds Web site at www.WorkingStage.com. Presented by Opening Minds Productions. All shows are directed by Frank Megna and produced by Bob Ladendorf and Diana Ljungaeus. Opening Minds Productions, in association with Meadowlane Enterprises, Inc., and Bill Allen, is reviving Steve Allen's award-winning, timeless PBS series, Meeting of Minds, as live theater. Staged readings are scheduled as part of launching the effort to perform these works nationally. Celebrating Rites of Passage As we pass through
life, we celebrate many occasions filled with joy and love,
accomplishment and striving, loss and grief. The message of the
humanist is emphasis on the potential goodness of life -
humanist ceremonies are ingredients to a life well lived.
